Special and Progress Inspections

Explore

Special and Progress Inspections are inspections conducted during construction to ensure that everything is being built safely, per code, and per the construction documents prepared by the registered professional of record. These inspections must be completed by New York City Department of Buildings-approved inspectors. For energy efficiency, specific inspections are required by law to ensure buildings meet the New York City Energy Conservation Code. These inspections help guarantee quality, safety, and compliance throughout the construction process.

We are also equipped to perform building or energy system inspections outside of the city as permitted by local codes and regulations.
